The Induction Programm 2017 of the student of F.Y.Diploma pharmacy was held on 21st August in Seminar Hall Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi.  Ms. Neha Patil and Mr. Omkar Machale second year D. Pharm students greeted the parents and students. 

The Dignitaries present on the Dias were Dr. N. S. Vyawahare, Principal, Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy Akurdi, Dr. S. V. Deshpande, Principal Dr.D.Y.Patil Institute of Pharmacy, Akurdi, Ms.N. S.Modhave Academic Coordinator and All faculty members. 

The Program began with lighting ceremony followed by introduction of Faculty Members, thereafter the over view of college, Acdemic curriculum, Examination pattern & highlights how the Training and Placement Cell is a vital part of college and various activities are organized throughout the year was presented by Ms. N.S.Modhave  

The meritorious students of Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education Examination held in May 2017 were felicitated. 

There after two student of S.Y.D.Pharm, Ms.Vasanti Choudhary and Mr. Kshitij Mhandhare shared views about institute. 

Dr. N. S. Vyawahare guided on administration and add on techniques provided by the college to the students. He also appealed to parents to regularly visit the college during their course and get update of ward’s progress.

Dr.S.V.Deshpande welcomed and congratulated students and their parents, advised them with his words of wisdom. In this interactive session he informed students about various qualities they need to inculcate themselves in order to become good pharmacist. It was an inspiring session where he highlighted the responsibilities of pharmacy students.

The vote of thanks was extended by Ms. Pranali Modak, Second year D. Pharm Student. At the end, College round was organized to show, insight of infrastructure and various facilities provided by the college.
